Microsoft Outlook Email Configuration (for Windows PCs) Print

  1. Open Microsoft Outlook on your computer.
  2. Click on "File" in the top left corner of the window, and then click on "Add Account".
  3. Select "Manual setup or additional server types" and click on "Next".
  4. Select "POP or IMAP" and click on "Next".
  5. In the "User Information" section, enter your name and email address.
  6. In the "Server Information" section, select "IMAP" as the account type.
  7. In the "Incoming mail server" field, enter "ax.email".
  8. In the "Outgoing mail server (SMTP)" field, enter "ax.email".
  9. In the "Logon Information" section, enter your email address as the username and your password (if you are unsure of your password, retrieve or reset email account here or get in touch for further assistance).
  10. Click on the "More Settings" button in the bottom right corner of the window.
  11. In the "Internet E-mail Settings" window, click on the "Outgoing Server" tab.
  12. Select the option that says "My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication", and then select "Use same settings as my incoming mail server".
  13. Click on the "Advanced" tab, and then enter the following information:
  14. In the "Incoming server (IMAP)" field, enter "993".
    In the "Use the following type of encrypted connection" field, select "SSL".
    In the "Outgoing server (SMTP)" field, enter "465".
    In the "Use the following type of encrypted connection" field, select "SSL".
    Click on "OK" to close the "Internet E-mail Settings" window.
  15. Click on "Next" in the "Add Account" window to test your account settings.
  16. If the tests are successful, click on "Close" and then click on "Finish" to complete the setup process.
